  1. Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed Shadow Man. As an Inverness resident who has recently had to move away it was great to read a story involving so many familiar places. I particularly liked the way you developed the character of Lukas and gave small insights into his back story. I am very much looking forward to the rest of the series. I can see that having a rash of murders in the Highlands might be problematic but if Ann Cleeves can do it in Shetland (surely even less likely than Inverness) you can do it in Snecky.
All the very best for your future work.

    1. Thank you so much! I’m always particularly pleased when someone who knows Inverness tells me I’ve got the ‘feel’ of the town right. And yes, there’s a lot more to be revealed about Lukas and his family!
I think the key to keeping a series believable that’s set somewhere like Inverness is to look at other major crimes as well as murder – and of course, it’s a city now, which does give me a bit of leeway.
As you enjoyed ‘Shadow Man’, could I ask if you would consider leaving a review for me on Amazon? It needn’t be very long, and you don’t have to have purchased the book from there, but it will please my publishers and encourage them to look favourably on the rest of the series I have planned!
      Very best wishes
